Remembrance Day

'In war, there are no unwounded soldiers."

                                  Jose Narosky

Wounds

I think of the soldiers that lost their lives,
the soldiers that lost other soldiers lives,
the mothers and fathers of the soldiers,
the wives, the girlfriends, the kids, the domino effect
- when soldiers are lost in war.

One can never know the depth of pain
that a soldier has endured,
the things they've seen,

but we can be there and show them we care
by taking time to reflect on the lives lost in war.

The stories we hear on the news,
the pictures we see in the paper
that is what we see,
but what is it's true magnitude?
A scar on the leg, a missing limb,
the wounds travel deeper than the missing left hand.

While there is so much death in war,
their are friendships that were made that will last a lifetime.
Experience that made people who they are today.
We can't take back the past, we can't predict the future
The only thing we have is this moment

Make the most of today, live for the moment and REMEMBER
we have these moments for the sacrifices otherss made.
Thank you soldiers, for your courage to do what we couldn't

I would like to thank all those who sacrifice their live
so we can wake up to a life without shot going off in our front yards.
Please check out the information below and show your support to the soldiers who keep on fighting the war of PTSD even when they return home.
