A slice of beautiful

And so the blogging begins......

1:30am on a Sunday morning (late late, Saturday night)  and I have an urge to start a blog. First let me say, I am not a famous writer, so don't expect my writing to be outstanding, I do however have a story to share so this is my way of relating to others who might be facing the same struggles of wanting to accomplish goals but having a hard time seeing these goals through. Please share your thoughts, tips and words of encouragement. My hope is that by May 28th I will able to celebrate my birthday as well as this personal goal that I feel has been haunting me for a lifetime.

The other day on Facebook I wrote "Sometimes I feel like a hamster running on a wheel".There are so many things I want accomplished. Somewhat of a mini bucket list. I feel a need to accomplish basic things, like weight loss. I feel that has been a huge obstacle in my self expression. I wear things to accommodate my weight not things I want to wear. I know this is a common sentiment of people not satisfied with their weight.

I've decided at 164.5 I need to lose approximately 45 pounds. My ideal weight would be 120. My Running like a hamster on a wheel analogy is the constant failure of not attaining this ideal weight. Doing the cycle over and over and over again, I lose weight, gain weight, feel motivated again...I go in with a bang and gone with a poof.. Not accomplishing simple things that I know would make a world of difference to my life is frustrating.

Now, I wonder if losing this weight would make a huge difference in my life. But why wonder what difference it would make, I want to feel the difference it will make. This blog will follow the difference this weight loss brings to my life and how I accomplish the weight loss. This is me jumping off the wheel and forging my path.

It is now 1:12, time went back an hour and I did 20 minutes on the elliptical. I would like to do 20 minutes per day.

This blog is here for me to Journal but as well to keep me on track and motivated in accomplishing my personal goals. Losing weight is one of my MANY personal goals.

  2. You write so well, have you ever thought of becoming a Yahoo! contributor? That's how I published my first article.

As for your subject of weight loss, I understand where you're coming from. It's hard, but doable. But one thing that can make it extremely difficult is stress. If there's a way you can wipe out stress around you, that should help.

  3. Howdy this is kind of of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or
if you have to manually code with HTML. I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!

  5. Hmm it seems like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely
long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I had written and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your
blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to the whole thing.
Do you have any helpful hints for inexperienced blog writers?
    I'd definitely appreciate it.
