THREE

This morning I woke up with the need to weight myself. I'm down 3 pounds. Well, I must say I feel better knowing this effort is starting to show itself in numbers.

Life to me is about choosing the things that are worthwhile and going after it. Nothing comes on a silver platter. The things that do is karma coming back your way. But I believe the things we truly want,  we need to work for it. It builds character and makes us stronger individuals for achieving our goals. The truth of the matter is, if we really want something we will find a way to achieve it. We can find excuses and put blame on others as to why we can't achieve it. But in the end we are responsible for where we are in life.

Somebody once asked me, "are you happy in life" I answered I am not where I want to be in life. His answer was, you are exactly where you are meant to be in life, if you are not, then change it. At first I felt annoyed..of course I want to be healthy and in shape, of course I want to have a successful business with my jewelry. But the fact of the matter is, these things are all in my control and I just had to find a way to make it happen. I found excuses to not make it happen. I throw excuses like, I have cramps, I have a headache, I'm tired, I, I, I, I ....I guess I didn't really want it.

My plan of action is, instead of finding reasons why I can't do it, I will  find reasons why I can / want to do it. I'm at the stage where I am building a state of mind. Years of telling myself that I have no energy to go on the machines, I am too angry, annoyed, not enough time to go to the gym. Those are things I want to eliminate from my thoughts and replace them with motivational thoughts.

It's easy to go through life in a bubble of what you think your life is and what it really is. I can't emphasize the impact that picture had on me ( I will post it in 2 weeks). I thought I had a waist?... Now realizing my waist is lost somewhere between the bag of chips and medium coffees with cream and sugar (and everything in between). I have a new motivation of creating the person I know I can be. Gym at noon! Don't forget I'll be updating my blog once I return from the gym! ~x0x

Went to the gym, did my 25 minutes on the elliptical and some weights. Now for tonights workout!

My legs felt like they were going to give out. I looked to Troy with a voice of concern, maybe I should stop? Nope, he says- keep on trucking! I went  through waves of wondering if my legs could take anymore to this is great. Now that I am sitting all is well in the universe!

  1. I am inspired by you're building resolve. Keep going. I will be there to motivate and support you as best I can. We can do it on our own, but it's better to do it with friends.
